Redang Island, Malaysia

Pulau Redang or Redang Island is one of the premier Malaysian Marine Parks in Peninsular Malaysia. It located in Sorth China Sea off the northeast coast of Peninsular Malaysia within 5°44' - 5°50' North latitude and 102°59' - 103°5' East longitude. It lies about 45km north-northeast of Kuala Terengganu, the state capital of Terengganu, and about 22km off Tanjung Merang, the closest point on the mainland.

Redang Island is boasts with white sandy beaches lined with palm trees, crystal clear waters and spectacular coral reefs.

Redang offers many different dive sites to suit all kinds of skill levels, from beach dives, shallow dives to challenging deep dives. There are beautiful hard and soft coral gardens as well as sandy bottom sites offering muck dives. The dive sites are all located nearby and are quickly accessible by speedboat.

Pulau Redang is always my first priority for travelling in Malaysia. Many of my friends had recommend it to me. The beaches there is so nice and you will not believe that it is in Malaysia. Really hope to go there one day. =)
